Climate Change - Evidence and Consequences
Dr. Kevin E Trenberth

Among many major global  environmental concerns (plastic, air pollution, wild fires, climate change), rubberized asphalt has a role to play.   The consumption of resources is not sustainable.  For climate change, the USA and China, closely followed now by India, are key emitters from fossil fuel burning.  The IPCC warns that “Recent changes in climate are widespread, rapid, and  intensifying, and  unprecedented in thousands  of years.”  They are caused by human activities.  Carbon dioxide concentrations in the atmosphere are over 50% more than pre-industrial (before 1900).  2024 is the warmest year on record, and 2025 is looming to be among the top 3.  Warmer oceans increase moisture and promote flooding rains, while where not raining, drought, heatwaves and wildfires proliferate.  In the absence of adequate cuts in emissions by most countries, the main advice is to plan for the consequences and build resilience.

Key Dates Deadlines Extended

Act Now: RAR2025 Conference Abstracts, Papers and Presentation

Deadlines Extended so they can be considered  for the RCR journals!

The RAR2025 paper deadlines have been extended due to the recent good efforts of Dr. Krishna Prapoorna Biligiri whereby RAR2025 papers will be submitted for possible inclusion in the prestigiously acclaimed Resources, Conservation and Recycling (RCR) and Resources, Conservation and Recycling Advances Journals. These well-known journals specialize in scientific research papers on sustainable management and conservation of resources. Special issues in RCR and RCR Advances journals will be devoted to high-quality papers from RAR2025 entitled “Special Issue on Rubberized-Asphalt-Rubber: A Waste-to-Wealth Strategy for Pavement Circularity.” The RAR2025 conference paper submission dates for papers are adjusted so as many papers as possible can be considered and become part of the RCR journals. We urge you to take advantage of this excellent opportunity to have your paper reviewed, accepted and printed in the highly regarded RCR scientific journals.
